About our service
Apply Postmaster provides independent support to people who want to apply for a Post Office, prepare for interview or assessment, apply for Banking Hubs, or buy or sell a business that includes a Post Office.
Independence
Apply Postmaster is not part of Post Office Ltd or any other company or trade body. Our support is independent, confidential, and impartial. Decisions about approvals are made only by Post Office Ltd.
Confidentiality & data protection
- Information you share with us is kept confidential and used only to deliver the service you purchased.
- We follow UK data protection law. We store data securely and keep it only for as long as needed for your engagement and our legal obligations.
- You agree not to copy, share, or publish our documents, checklists, templates, or guidance without our written consent.
Responsibilities
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Respond in good time to requests for documents or clarifications.
- Ensure all documents you supply are genuine and lawful.
Our responsibilities
- Deliver the service with care and skill.
- Provide clear guidance and upload-ready documents where included.
- Tell you promptly if we need more information or if something is missing.
Professional conduct
- We will act in a professional, business-like manner.
- You agree to act professionally and provide honest information.
- If you knowingly provide false or misleading information, we may end the engagement immediately.
Duration & service windows
- Post Office Ltd currently allows up to 28 days for an applicant to submit a complete application after being invited.
- Unless stated otherwise in your order:
- Application and Banking Hub support is available for up to 90 days from payment.
- Interview preparation is available for up to 14 days from payment.
- If timelines set by Post Office Ltd change, we will adapt our work to the new schedule where possible.
Fees, payment & refunds
- Fees are payable in advance. Work often begins immediately after payment.
- This is a business-to-business service contract. There is no cooling-off period, and no refunds or exchanges once work has started.
- If you need to reschedule an interview prep session, please give reasonable notice so we can offer you another slot within your service window.
What we do not provide
- We do not offer legal, tax, or financial advice.
- We do not guarantee any outcome or approval. Decisions are made by Post Office Ltd.
- We are not estate agents or solicitors, and we do not take sales commission.
Termination
- Either party may end the engagement by written notice.
- If the engagement ends, we will archive your file for a reasonable period and then delete it securely unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable.
Liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, business, or opportunity.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you purchase a service applies to that purchase.
Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
